Titolo 4
Teleférico del Teide
El Teide

The Teide Cable Car is one of the most amazing experiences you can have in Tenerife, and probably in all of Europe. It departs from the base station at 2,356 meters above sea level, in the heart of Teide National Park, and in just eight minutes ascends to 3,555 meters, very close to the highest peak in Spain. The journey is short, but the sensations and views are immense: ocean on one side, lava fields on the other, and clouds beneath your feet.
Once at the top, at La Rambleta station, you can breathe the purest (albeit thinner) air and choose from three official trails. One leads to the famous La Fortaleza viewpoint, with views toward the north of the island. Another guides you to the Pico Viejo viewpoint, where you can see an ancient crater 800 meters in diameter and, on clear days, make out La Gomera, El Hierro, and La Palma. The third, only with prior permission, takes you to the summit of Teide (3,718 m), where you can touch the sky amidst sulfur fumaroles and volcanic silence.
The experience is so breathtaking that you don't need to be a mountaineer to experience the immensity of the place. Just be sure to bring warm clothing (even in summer), sunscreen, and book in advance. From this height, Teide reveals its most mystical and wild side.

Minas de San José
When you arrive at the San José Mines, you feel like you've landed on another planet. The reddish soil, ochre tones, and volcanic formations create an almost Martian landscape that changes with the light every minute. It's one of those places near Mount Teide where you'll find yourself stopping to take photos without even realizing it, but beyond the striking image, you also perceive the geological force that defines this part of the island.
Activities
Avistamiento de Aves en Parque Nacional del Teide
Teide National Park offers a unique experience for birdwatchers. Its volcanic landscapes, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, are home to exclusive species such as the Teide blue finch, as well as kestrels, meadow pipits, and shrikes. The park's silence and clear skies create an ideal environment for enjoying the flight of these birds, adapted to an extreme ecosystem full of contrasts.
