Titolo 4
Santa Cruz

When you ascend to Azotea Urban 180, the first thing that strikes you is the sense of spaciousness, being on the seventh floor, literally above the center of Santa Cruz. From that height, you don't just see buildings: you see the sky above, the bustling city below, and, if you arrive at the right time, a sunset that bathes everything in golden hues before the city lights arrive. This contrast between day and night is a big part of the charm of this place.
The space is designed for those who want to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, music, and a great atmosphere, all accompanied by panoramic views. Throughout the afternoon, you can have a drink while chatting with friends, watching the sun set, and feeling the air change as the temperature drops. Gradually, as night approaches, the rooftop takes on a more lively character: the bar comes alive, the music gets a little louder, and the place transforms from a tranquil terrace into a vibrant hub of urban leisure.
One thing I love about this place is that you can experience it in so many ways: you can arrive early, order a drink, chat in the lounge area with a view, and stay until later when the atmosphere becomes more nocturnal and festive; or you can come straight there after dark, find a comfortable spot, and let the music and lights define your evening.
In addition, the drinks menu is extensive: from classic and signature cocktails to simpler drinks if you're looking for something light before continuing your night out. Some nights there are also DJs and more upbeat music, which transforms the terrace into a kind of open-air club.
It's not a huge place, nor is it a spot where you'll spend hours; the experience comes from being up there, feeling the city beneath your feet, enjoying panoramic views, and sharing a drink while the atmosphere moves with you. For me, that's what makes Urban 180 special: its blend of elegant terrace and nightlife venue, with a changing skyline depending on the time of day, the light of sunset or city lights, and its location right in the heart of the city.

Biblioteca de Arte TEA
If you need a quiet place in the heart of Santa Cruz to stop for a moment, the TEA Art Library is perfect for escaping the city's hustle and bustle. Here you can sit and read, study, or simply spend some time in silence surrounded by books and contemporary architecture. The space is spacious, bright, and very pleasant, ideal for those seeking tranquility, culture, and a different atmosphere within the city.
Activities
Albergue Comarcal Valle Colino
The Valle Colino Regional Shelter in La Laguna is Tenerife's main shelter for abandoned animals. In addition to caring for and sheltering dogs and cats, it offers the opportunity to volunteer in its daily work: walking animals, helping with cleaning them, or assisting with adoption campaigns. A caring and emotionally rewarding experience for animal lovers.
Beaches
Playa de la Nea
La Nea Beach in Radazul is a volcanic black sand beach perfect for lingering. It's very close to Santa Cruz, but the atmosphere here is calmer, with a breakwater that softens the waves and a promenade along the entire shore. It's a comfortable beach, well-integrated into the surroundings and very popular with locals.

Shopping
7 Islas 7 Quesos
At 7 Islas 7 Quesos, you'll feel like you've stepped into a little paradise for cheese lovers. They offer Canarian products made from sheep, goat, and mixed cheeses, from fresh to semi-cured, as well as artisanal spreads and almogrotes, including a pistachio one that will win you over. The service is friendly and they'll advise you based on your preferences. If you're looking for quality, authentic cheeses, and a personal touch, this is the place.
Sports
Santa Cruz Extreme
The Santa Cruz Extreme is an iconic mountain race in Tenerife, which runs through Anaga Rural Park and finishes in Santa Cruz. It has several categories (60 km, 33 km, 18 km, 10 km, and a vertical race), with steep slopes, routes along trails, and traditional farmhouses. Held in October, it attracts runners of many nationalities; it is also notable for its sustainable approach and for promoting the natural and rural value of Anaga.
Trekking
Sendero Los Catalanes
The Los Catalanes Trail, in the Anaga Mountains, combines rural history and spectacular landscapes. It's a medium-difficulty route that connects old farmhouses through terraced fields, laurel forest, and sea views. The contrast between the humid vegetation and the remains of traditional Canarian life make this route an authentic experience, highly representative of the greenest and most peaceful side of Tenerife.
