The Orthodox Church of the Presentation of the Lord is one of Tenerife's most unique churches. Located in La Caleta, Adeje, this church belongs to the Russian Orthodox community and was inaugurated in 2019, becoming the first church of its kind in the Canary Islands. Its presence is impossible to miss: the golden domes, visible from afar, reflect the sun and provide a distinctive contrast to the landscape of the island's south.
The building follows the traditional style of Russian sacred art, with a Greek cross floor plan, carved wooden details, and an interior dominated by religious icons brought directly from Russia.
