Titolo 4
Pista de Parapente Anocheza
Güímar

The Anocheza paragliding launch site, on the Güímar hillside (Corona Forestal), has established itself as one of Tenerife's top options for those looking to fly in good company thanks to its scenery, safety, and good equipment. It was renovated by the Cabildo (City Council), which significantly improved the conditions: shock-absorbing and non-slip pavement, ramps to facilitate wing deployment, slope stabilization, visible signage, and access control.
The runway has a takeoff area of approximately 420 square meters and ramps totaling nearly 170 meters for paragliding preparation. This not only improves takeoff safety but also makes it more comfortable and accessible for pilots and those planning to fly in tandem. In terms of the number of flights, there are typically several thousand per year (approximately 9,000 jumps per year), making it a fairly busy site.
An important distinguishing feature is the combination of landscape and location: from Anocheza, you have open views of the Güímar Valley and the coast, the sensation of soaring over green slopes and then descending toward the sea. For tandem flights, this adds a lot: the downhill route from the mountain to coastal landings (for example, at Puertito de Güímar) allows you to see the transition from mountain to sea, which is visually striking.

Sports
Barranquismo Barranco San Joaquín
The San Joaquín Ravine, in Fasnia, is one of the most comprehensive and technical descents in southern Tenerife. Its dry riverbed, which remains dry for much of the year, sculpts a landscape of volcanic rock formations, fossil waterfalls, and ochre and reddish walls. The route combines long rappels, narrow passages, and downclimbs, all in an arid and solitary setting that offers an authentic adventure experience unlike the canyons in the north.
Trekking
Ruta del Trillo
The Threshing Route, in La Zarza (Fasnia), is a circular ethnographic trail that pays homage to cereal farming and the small farmers who worked these lands in difficult times. A peaceful walk among threshing floors, traditional terraces, and open mid-altitude landscapes, it's ideal for discovering the agricultural past of southeastern Tenerife.
