Caserio de Roque Bermejo
Macizo de Anaga

The hamlet of Roque Bermejo is one of the most remote and picturesque spots in the Anaga massif. Located at the end of the trail that starts from Chamorga, this small coastal village is only accessible on foot or by boat, which has helped preserve its traditional character and tranquility. The journey itself is part of the experience: a trek through ravines, laurel forest, and views of the Atlantic Ocean that hint at the place's isolation.
The hamlet consists of a few white houses, a jetty, a chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Candelaria, a small pebble beach, and the Anaga lighthouse, which stands atop the nearby cliffs. The atmosphere of old fishing villages is still palpable: no roads, no shops or bars, just the sound of the sea and the seagulls. On clear days, the views are spectacular, with the contrast between the deep blue sea and the verdant mountains.
Roque Bermejo is a perfect destination for hikers and nature lovers, a glimpse into Tenerife's wildest and least touristy side. Upon arrival, you'll feel as if you've reached a place far removed from the world, where nature reigns supreme and tranquility envelops everything.
Ideal if you're drawn to authentic places, scenic routes, and the experience of discovering a hidden gem at the end of the trail.

Trekking
PR TF 06
This trail is no walk in the park: it's Anaga in its purest form. You hike the PR-TF 6 knowing that steep inclines, rough terrain, and plenty of sun await you. It connects El Draguillo, Chamorga, and the Anaga Lighthouse, passing through isolated hamlets and along a wild coastline. Here, every step demands attention, but in return, you'll walk one of the most complete and challenging routes in the massif, with breathtaking scenery, rich history, and genuine silence.
