The Los Órganos Trail, located in the highlands of La Orotava within the Corona Forestal Natural Park, is one of the most beautiful and surprising routes in northern Tenerife. Its name comes from the spectacular rock formation that forms its highest point: a cliff of solidified basalt columns that, seen from a distance, evoke the vertical pipes of a giant organ, sculpted by nature itself from ancient volcanic eruptions.

The route winds through dense Canary pine forests, where the scent of resin mingles with the cool air of the high altitude. Along the way, the terrain alternates between areas of deep shade and clearings from which you can enjoy panoramic views of the Orotava Valley, the Atlantic Ocean, and, inland, the majestic silhouette of Mount Teide. During the hike, it's common to find ferns, heathers, and broom, which complete the typical vegetation of the Canary Island laurel forest.

The trail is of medium difficulty and usually takes about two or three hours of leisurely walking. It's a perfect route for those looking to disconnect from the urban bustle and enjoy the silence of the forest. The surroundings invite you to stop, breathe, and listen to the wind filtering through the pine treetops.

At the end of the trail, Los Órganos appear before the hiker like a natural work of art, imposing and silent, a reminder of the volcanic force that shaped the island. The contrast between the dark rock and the intense green of the forest creates an unforgettable landscape, especially on clear days when the sunlight enhances the nuances of the basalt walls.

The Los Órganos Trail is not only a mountain experience but also a journey through the geological history of Tenerife, where each step reveals how nature patiently sculpted one of the jewels of La Orotava's natural heritage.

Here you'll find Persian cuisine bursting with intense aromas, where saffron, fresh herbs, yogurt, and nuts define the character of the dishes.
