Fairy Tunnel and Roque Negro are part of one of the most captivating circular routes in Anaga Rural Park. The usual starting point is the Pico del Inglés viewpoint, one of the most impressive viewpoints on the island, offering panoramic views to the north and south. From there, the trail enters a laurel forest so dense that, in some sections, the vegetation arches over the path, forming a natural passageway: the famous Fairy Tunnel. The light filters gently through the leaves, and the humidity creates a magical, almost surreal sensation.

After passing through this enchanted passage, the trail descends to the small and picturesque hamlet of Roque Negro, a traditional corner where time seems to have stood still. Its whitewashed houses, orchards, and agricultural terraces are nestled among verdant mountains and deep ravines, showcasing the rural way of life that has endured for centuries in Anaga.

The circular route combines tracks, narrow paths, and steep sections, so appropriate footwear and water are recommended. On foggy days, the atmosphere becomes even more mysterious, enhancing the charm of the Fairy Tunnel and the landscapes surrounding Roque Negro. It's an experience that blends nature, culture, and a touch of magic, perfect for those who love routes with character and authenticity.
