Titolo 4
La Milla de Oro
Las Americas

The Golden Mile, on the border between Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas, is the main entertainment avenue in southern Tenerife. Along its 1.5 km stretch, you'll find a vibrant mix of fashion stores (from Zara and Guess to cosmetics shops), international restaurants, outdoor cafes, and trendy bars. All are well-maintained, clean, and accessible, with wide sidewalks, palm trees, and pedestrian zones that invite you to stroll.
During the day, the atmosphere is relaxed: tourists and locals browse window displays, shop, or stop to sunbathe on a bar terrace. At dusk, the place transforms: neon lights on facades, music from a central fountain, and a festive but not overbearing atmosphere. There are regular shows at the Safari shopping center, with projections or giant bubbles, and several terraces where you can dine overlooking the promenade.
At night, the area comes alive: venues like the Hard Rock Café, British-style bars, and pubs offer cocktails, music, and good vibes. It has a modern, relaxed, and safe atmosphere, without loud nightclubs, and is more geared toward family or couples.
Beyond entertainment, it offers useful services: underground parking near the Antonio Domínguez stadium, information panels, a bike lane, and a low-emission zone for more sustainable mobility. All of this is part of the Arona Ilusiona Plan, which aims for a more pedestrian-friendly and greener environment.
Tips for visiting: Wear comfortable clothing because the walk is long, protect yourself from the sun if you go during the day, and take the opportunity to dine out. There are options for all budgets and styles: from modern Asian cuisine to Canarian dishes. The ideal way to end the day is to take a stroll along the seaside and experience that cosmopolitan feel without ceasing to be an islander.
