Playa Fañabé is located in the heart of Costa Adeje, one of the most elegant and complete tourist areas in the south of Tenerife. With an extension of more than 600 metres, this beach of fine, clear sand, the result of a treated volcanic mixture, is designed for those seeking both relaxation and quality services by the sea. The sea in this area is calm, with small waves that make it ideal for swimming or enjoying gentle water sports such as paddle surfing or banana boat rides.
The beach has all the services you would expect from a well-developed tourist area: sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, showers, lifeguards, adapted access for people with reduced mobility, and even massage areas. The best part is just behind the sand: a wide, well-kept promenade that connects to other beaches such as Torviscas or El Duque, and is home to a selection of restaurants, chill-out bars, clothes shops, souvenir shops and artisan ice-cream parlours.
The atmosphere is family-friendly but with a sophisticated touch: you'll see both young couples having a drink in front of the sea and whole families enjoying a full day at the beach without having to move too much.
