Submarine Safari
Amarilla Golf

Submarine Safaris Tenerife offers one of the island's most unique experiences: venturing into the Atlantic Ocean aboard an authentic tourist submarine. The tour begins at the San Miguel marina, and within minutes, the submersible descends gently to depths of between 20 and 30 meters. Through its large, individual viewing windows, passengers can observe marine life in its natural environment, something very different from doing so from the surface or with a snorkel.
During the trip, it's common to see large schools of fish approaching the submarine with curiosity, rays gliding elegantly along the seabed, and even sea turtles that, with luck, may appear. The entire trip is accompanied by clear and entertaining explanations, making the experience both educational and exciting.
The interior of the submarine is designed for the comfort and safety of visitors, with spacious seats, good visibility, and state-of-the-art control systems. This activity is ideal for both families with children and adults looking for something different on their vacation.
What makes Submarine Safaris Tenerife special is that it allows you to discover a side of the sea otherwise inaccessible, without the need to dive and with the thrill of exploring the depths. A unique, safe excursion, highly recommended for those looking to take home a unique souvenir of the island.

Where to eat
Heladería Artesanal la Tejita
If you're in the La Tejita area and fancy something refreshing after the beach, this ice cream shop is a great place to stop. Here you'll find artisanal ice creams with a variety of delicious flavors, perfect for a quick treat while you're strolling or relaxing after a day at the beach. It's a simple, pleasant, and very convenient spot to indulge without any fuss.
What to see
La Hoya
The hamlet of La Hoya, in San Miguel de Abona, is one of those places that helps you understand what life was like in southern Tenerife before tourism. Declared a Site of Cultural Interest as an Ethnological Site, it preserves traditional architecture, historic paths, water sources, and agricultural terraces in a rural setting that has changed very little over time.
Activities
Tunolandia Canarias
This is a distinctive plan on the island of Tenerife across all the playa and hotels, Tunolandia is one of these curiosities that are so popular. In the Valle de San Lorenzo, this space consists of a variety of tuneras, gastronomy, tradition and products based on high pico. Aquí puedes pasear entre cactus gigantes, probar mermeladas, licores o mojo de tuno y descubrir una cara mucho más rural y diferente del sur de la isla.
Nightlife
Bahia Beach
Bahía Beach Restaurant is one of those places where the real star isn't the food, but the oceanfront ambiance. Located in Palm-Mar, literally right on the ocean, it functions more like a relaxed beach lounge where you come to enjoy a cocktail, listen to music, and watch the sunset with the sound of the waves in the background. The Balinese beds, live music, and terrace overlooking the sea make it easy to end up staying for hours without even realizing it.
Shopping
Miel Tament
Tament, which means "honey" in the Amazigh language, is an artisanal gem produced on the same estate that makes Nevales de Abona wine, using Canarian black bees. It is multifloral, pure, and deep golden in color, with a smooth texture and balanced sweetness. Although it doesn't have an official organic seal, it is produced using sustainable and traditional methods. Like the wines, this product can only be found at the San Isidro Farmers Market, at Elsa's stand.
Sports
Zona de calistenia en el Puerto de San Miguel
The Calistenia area of Puerto de San Miguel, in Amarilla Golf, is one of these locations that offers a complete experience. The park is beautiful and not particularly large, but it is just outside the sea, just like the port of sports, as it can be seen with views of the boats, the ocean and the volcanic landscape on the Costa Sur. A very tranquil location for outdoor activities in the more urban atmosphere of other parks.
Trekking
Sendero Montaña Roja
Walking the circular route that starts in El Médano and heads toward Montaña Roja is like stepping into an otherworldly volcanic landscape: reddish sand, deep blue sea, and the wind that caresses you with every step. You can see World War II bunkers, aquatic birds, and panoramic views of the southern part of the island. You'll love it if you're looking for an easy hike with that "reconnect with nature" feel in southern Tenerife.
