Karting Club Tenerife
Cho - Parque de la Reina

The Karting Club Tenerife is much more than just a go-kart track: it's a true motorsports landmark in the Canary Islands. Located in Parque La Reina, in the heart of the island's south, it has been a meeting point for locals and tourists looking for an adrenaline rush and driving fun for decades.
It has two distinct circuits: a children's track, designed for the little ones to enjoy in complete safety, and a professional track of over a kilometer, one of the longest in Spain. On the latter, high-powered karts reach dizzying speeds, guaranteeing an intense experience for those who enjoy racing.
The club's organization is another of its strong points. The staff is responsible for explaining safety rules in detail, supervising each session, and offering fast and friendly service. They also have different types of karts depending on the age or experience level, ensuring that any visitor can find their ideal rhythm, from beginners to the most demanding speed lovers.
The setting is perfect: the track is located on a large open-air esplanade, surrounded by unobstructed views of southern Tenerife and with facilities designed for a pleasant time before or after racing. There are also rest areas, a cafeteria, a terrace, and a very lively atmosphere, especially on weekends, when groups of friends or families challenge each other in impromptu races full of laughter and healthy competition.
If there's one thing that characterizes the Karting Club Tenerife, it's its ability to offer a complete experience: fun, competition, and professional service that makes everyone feel like a real racer for the day. A must-stop for those looking to add a good dose of excitement to their visit to the island, with the roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber as a backdrop.

Where to eat
Il Gelato del Mercato
If you're craving some delicious gelato while strolling through Los Cristianos, Il Gelato del Mercato is a must-stop. Here, the focus is on Italian-style gelato, with intense flavors and a wonderfully creamy texture. It's perfect for a quick treat while exploring the area, offering both classic options and more original creations that are sure to surprise.
What to see
La Hoya
The hamlet of La Hoya, in San Miguel de Abona, is one of those places that helps you understand what life was like in southern Tenerife before tourism. Declared a Site of Cultural Interest as an Ethnological Site, it preserves traditional architecture, historic paths, water sources, and agricultural terraces in a rural setting that has changed very little over time.
Activities
Tunolandia Canarias
This is a distinctive plan on the island of Tenerife across all the playa and hotels, Tunolandia is one of these curiosities that are so popular. In the Valle de San Lorenzo, this space consists of a variety of tuneras, gastronomy, tradition and products based on high pico. Aquí puedes pasear entre cactus gigantes, probar mermeladas, licores o mojo de tuno y descubrir una cara mucho más rural y diferente del sur de la isla.
Beaches
Playa de los Cristianos Puerto
Los Cristianos Beach, next to the port of the same name, is one of the most iconic beaches in southern Tenerife. Protected from the waves by the pier, it offers calm waters and golden sand, perfect for swimming and strolling. From the shore, you can observe the activity of the fishing port and the departure of ferries to La Gomera, combining a local atmosphere with the maritime charm of a traditional coastal town.
Nightlife
Bahia Beach
Bahía Beach Restaurant is one of those places where the real star isn't the food, but the oceanfront ambiance. Located in Palm-Mar, literally right on the ocean, it functions more like a relaxed beach lounge where you come to enjoy a cocktail, listen to music, and watch the sunset with the sound of the waves in the background. The Balinese beds, live music, and terrace overlooking the sea make it easy to end up staying for hours without even realizing it.
Shopping
Miel Tament
Tament, which means "honey" in the Amazigh language, is an artisanal gem produced on the same estate that makes Nevales de Abona wine, using Canarian black bees. It is multifloral, pure, and deep golden in color, with a smooth texture and balanced sweetness. Although it doesn't have an official organic seal, it is produced using sustainable and traditional methods. Like the wines, this product can only be found at the San Isidro Farmers Market, at Elsa's stand.
Sports
Zona de calistenia en el Puerto de San Miguel
The Calistenia area of Puerto de San Miguel, in Amarilla Golf, is one of these locations that offers a complete experience. The park is beautiful and not particularly large, but it is just outside the sea, just like the port of sports, as it can be seen with views of the boats, the ocean and the volcanic landscape on the Costa Sur. A very tranquil location for outdoor activities in the more urban atmosphere of other parks.
Trekking
Sendero Montaña de Chayofita
The Chayofita Mountain Trail in Los Cristianos is a simple, short route that offers one of the best panoramic views of southern Tenerife. Its route, just over a kilometer long, gently climbs an ancient volcanic cone to a peak overlooking Los Cristianos, Las Américas, and the Atlantic. It's ideal for a sunset walk, enjoying the tranquility and the cityscape from above.
