Siam mall
Adeje

The Siam Mall, located in Costa Adeje, is much more than a shopping center: it's an open space with soul, decorated in a Thai style, full of gardens, fountains, and chill-out areas. Opened in 2015, it offers more than 70 stores with brands such as Zara, Mango, H&M, Guess, Swarovski, Pandora, and Timberland, as well as local and vintage shops. It also has a Hiperdino hypermarket for buying fresh produce or groceries.
The design is based on covered open-air walkways, spacious terraces, and Asian sculptures, creating a curated and pleasant environment where you can stroll without feeling like you're in a closed mall. Several of its terraces offer views of the ocean and even La Gomera on clear days.
For families and young visitors, the mall includes children's areas such as Dreamland and Bricks Garden, perfect for keeping the little ones entertained while you enjoy a coffee. During high season, they also schedule outdoor events: summer cinema, concerts, workshops, and Zumba masterclasses.
There are dozens of places to eat: from burgers and tacos (Burger King, 100 Montaditos, Noodles Box) to restaurants with Italian menus, sushi, or Canarian cuisine. Many terraces have views and good background music, and the restaurant hours extend until 11 p.m.
It's very convenient to get there: there are 1,100 free parking spaces, a free bus service from Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas, and Costa Adeje, and reasonably priced taxis if you're coming from nearby areas. Plus, you can walk from Playa de las Américas in about 15-20 minutes, which is a pleasant walk.
The atmosphere is quiet, well-lit at night, safe, and uncrowded: ideal for tourists or locals looking for leisure, shopping, or a relaxing getaway.

Where to eat
Il Gelato del Mercato
If you're craving some delicious gelato while strolling through Los Cristianos, Il Gelato del Mercato is a must-stop. Here, the focus is on Italian-style gelato, with intense flavors and a wonderfully creamy texture. It's perfect for a quick treat while exploring the area, offering both classic options and more original creations that are sure to surprise.
What to see
La Hoya
The hamlet of La Hoya, in San Miguel de Abona, is one of those places that helps you understand what life was like in southern Tenerife before tourism. Declared a Site of Cultural Interest as an Ethnological Site, it preserves traditional architecture, historic paths, water sources, and agricultural terraces in a rural setting that has changed very little over time.
Activities
Tunolandia Canarias
This is a distinctive plan on the island of Tenerife across all the playa and hotels, Tunolandia is one of these curiosities that are so popular. In the Valle de San Lorenzo, this space consists of a variety of tuneras, gastronomy, tradition and products based on high pico. Aquí puedes pasear entre cactus gigantes, probar mermeladas, licores o mojo de tuno y descubrir una cara mucho más rural y diferente del sur de la isla.
Beaches
Playa de los Cristianos Puerto
Los Cristianos Beach, next to the port of the same name, is one of the most iconic beaches in southern Tenerife. Protected from the waves by the pier, it offers calm waters and golden sand, perfect for swimming and strolling. From the shore, you can observe the activity of the fishing port and the departure of ferries to La Gomera, combining a local atmosphere with the maritime charm of a traditional coastal town.
Nightlife
Roca Blanca
This beach club, located right on the seafront in one of the quietest areas of Los Cristianos, is ideal for enjoying a leisurely cocktail and stretching out the afternoon until sunset. It features a terrace with tables, a swimming pool, and Balinese beds, which should be reserved in advance. The atmosphere is relaxed, with music and a DJ, perfect for quiet get-togethers with friends or even for working from home with ocean views. It's not a place for formal dining, but rather for savoring the experience, the friendly service, and the sunset as the main attraction.
Shopping
Mercado del Agricultor del Valle de San Lorenzo
The San Lorenzo Valley Farmers Market, in the municipality of Arona, is a space where local farmers and artisans offer fruits, vegetables, cheeses, breads, wines, and traditional pastries directly to the public. With a warm and authentic atmosphere, it is an ideal place for those seeking fresh, quality products, while supporting the local economy and the agricultural traditions of southern Tenerife.
Sports
Street Workout Kenguru Pro
If you enjoy working out outdoors and you're in Playa de Las Américas, Street Workout KenguruPro is a great place to maintain your routine without going to a gym. It's not a huge or particularly advanced park, but it has the essentials for a good workout: bars, parallel bars, and enough space for calisthenics and functional exercises. Plus, it's in a very central location, just a few minutes' walk from the beach.
Trekking
Sendero Montaña de Chayofita
The Chayofita Mountain Trail in Los Cristianos is a simple, short route that offers one of the best panoramic views of southern Tenerife. Its route, just over a kilometer long, gently climbs an ancient volcanic cone to a peak overlooking Los Cristianos, Las Américas, and the Atlantic. It's ideal for a sunset walk, enjoying the tranquility and the cityscape from above.
