Piscinas naturales de Bajamar
Bajamar

The Bajamar Natural Pools, located in the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, are a coastal space that combines the experience of the sea with safety and urban comfort. Comprising two large saltwater pools - fed directly by the Atlantic - and a shallow children's pool, this complex is ideal for families, children and people with reduced mobility, thanks to its ramps and adapted access.
On days with a strong tide, the waves break against the seawall and slide into the pools, offering a natural spectacle that can be enjoyed from a distance or experienced first-hand. The cleanliness of the water and its surroundings has earned it the Blue Flag award, and the entire complex has showers, toilets, changing rooms and permanent lifeguards, making it a perfect version of the sea in public park format.
Next to the sea there is a small protected beach of blonde sand, surrounded by wide terraces where you can place your towel without being crowded. Nearby, there are many cafés, fresh fish restaurants, kiosks and home-made shops where you can combine a swim with a meal in front of the ocean. The surroundings also include an emblematic lighthouse, viewpoints over the coast and walking areas that connect with Punta del Hidalgo.
In short, the Natural Pools of Bajamar offer a safe, comfortable and very visual experience, with clean waters and complete services.
