Bajada de la Virgen del Socorro
Every September 7th, thousands of faithful fill Güímar to accompany the Virgin of Socorro from the church of San Pedro to the chapel of the same name on the coast. To the rhythm of the tajaraste, the aroma of basil, traditional music, and a joyful procession, it is an ancient pilgrimage considered the oldest in the Canary Islands, blending faith, history, and island culture in a single day.


La Librea Valle de Guerra
Every year, Valle de Guerra relives a symbolic battle of sea and faith with its Livery, a parade featuring ships, military costumes, and traditional dance. This unique spectacle blends devotion, history, and popular culture in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary. La Librea de Tegueste
Every few years, Tegueste transforms into a historic setting with its famous Librea (Literacy): a unique performance in the Canary Islands that blends theater, faith, and tradition. Military parades, period costumes, symbolic boats, and dances bring to life a festival that pays tribute to ancient battles and the devotion of a people. An experience filled with emotion and color.


Fiestas de San Andrés - Tablas
Every November, Icod de los Vinos becomes an adrenaline rush with the San Andrés festivities. The steep streets of the town are filled with young people sliding down wooden "planks" at full speed, in a unique, noisy, and laughter-filled tradition. Added to this is the opening of the wineries with the new wine of the year, roasted chestnuts, and a truly Icod atmosphere.


Fiesta del Carmen
Every July, Puerto de la Cruz honors the Virgin of Carmen with a seafaring procession filled with emotion and tradition. The image of the Virgin parades along the dock, accompanied by Saint Telmo, amidst songs, fireworks, and decorated small boats, before embarking on a sea voyage followed by dozens of ships. It is a day of faith, sea, and celebration with an authentic Puerto flavor.


Carnaval
Color, rhythm, and madness take over Santa Cruz every February with its famous Carnival, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest. Creative costumes, giant parades, contests, and lots of music fill the streets day and night. From the Queen's Gala to the Burial of the Sardine, it's a vibrant experience that blends humor, tradition, and pure Canarian energy.


Corpus Christi
Every year, the cobblestone streets of La Orotava are decorated with flower carpets and volcanic sand during Corpus Christi. The Town Hall Square displays a giant work made with natural Teide soil, while residents lovingly decorate the streets. A blend of tradition, devotion, and creativity transforms the historic center into an open-air museum for a few days.


Dia de las tradiciones
The Day of Traditions transforms Chirche into a time machine: ancient trades, traditional clothing, homemade bread, and locals who lovingly and carefully relive the past. A living tribute to rural Canarian life, with the flavor of gofio (a type of sweet potato), wood smoke, and folk music.
